Our Material Aid Program is provided to clients in distress by way of direct aid or referral to other services.
The assistance available can be in the form of fresh fruit and vegetable parcels, food, travel, and pharmacy assistance. We can also provide information, referrals and can assist people to become aware of their rights and responsibilities.
It is our aim to provide the basic needs to those most disadvantaged and vulnerable in the Western Port region.
Second Bite Food Collection
Fresh fruit and vegetables is donated and distributed through the Second Bite program. Western Port Community Support collect the fruit and vegetables and package available for collection every Monday after 2.15 pm.
This nutritious fresh fruit and vegetables is available to ALL those in need in our community.
Bakers Delight, Hastings kindly donate fresh bread to Western Port Community Support. The bread is packaged and frozen so it remains fresh.
The bread is available to anyone in need who lives in Western Port region.
